S. A. Jackson is an emerging author looking to put science back into science fiction and grow the medical horror genre. Growing up, she loved reading fantasy and science-fiction books under her grandfather’s influence. After getting her schoolwork done, hours would be spent creating her own worlds full of zombies, aliens, and other creatures. Now, she is a proud woman in STEM and currently works in an immunohistochemistry laboratory, preparing biopsies to help diagnose cancer. With her medical background and love of science fiction, she brings a fresh perspective to medical horror and the science part of science fiction. To her, nothing is too gross to write about. Currently, she is working on a zombie peri-apocalypse novel where histology plays a major role in diagnosing the zombie apocalypse. In the future, you may see her short stories in literary magazines.
